Staring at the pack, Ike took in a deep breath. He had to leave… without telling anyone? Two weeks… Two weeks away from Tyith… Away from Ferdinand. Why did he have to become to attached? This was for his clan! This was for Anathema, this was to keep the ones he loved safe… Right? His main worry was the child he loved, Ferdiand would figure out on his own what was going on. But… Tyith… He didn't even have time to tell him good-bye. If only he had time to ask Ferdinand to watch Tyith before he fell off the face of the earth.

Though what if a mission like this happened again? But longer? And… what if he finally had Tyith as his son? He just couldn't get up and leave his child! Distracted by his thoughts he sighed faintly before grabbing the bag. There was nothing he could do… He just hope, that when that time came he had some sort of plan… some sort of place he could take Tyith.

So this was where he was going to play Wildman? Just great… Staring at his new home he sighed faintly before taking in a deep breath. Pulling his gun out he stared at it for a moment before quickly starting to move. First thing first… build a camp. If he was stuck out here for a two weeks he needed to have some sort of place to live.

Even if he was worried about Tyith, and Ferdinand he couldn't help but be excited about such a task. Two weeks to train himself, though he would have rather had more at hand. He was in a wasteland, with a limit number of tools at hand. But one thing he did have… was his gun, even if there was only three magazine Ike felt that would be enough to last him. How wrong he would be…

The first two days went over smoothly. For once he was thankful for the nasty birds that seemed to only cause trouble, their nest where more then enough to keep him safe. And the tree it was in, was perfect for blocking out the rain if it where to come.

He had been sure the nest was abandoned, but on the second night he had been proven wrong. The easy mission, had turned to hell in no time. Ike had woken to heavy breath, and a nasty smell. His un-patched eye shot open once he realized something was there. Seeing the two birds he cursed to himself, unsure what was going to happen. As warm liquid fell against his skin Ike shivered with disgust.  So not only where these beast pissed, but hungry and just watering at the mouth to take a bite out of him.

The bayet made no move to attack, though he knew he had to make the first move or be killed without a fight. Glancing at his gun he took in a deep breath this was it. Grabbing the gun with a swift movement he smirked faintly. Taking aim quickly he shot at one of the birds, a evil grin forming on his lips as the sickening cries left its beck. Watching the birds take fight he quickly moved thinking he was clear. Climbing down the tree he found it was another stupid move. One of the birds came flying down, its long talons cutting through the think fabric of his clothing, and soon into his flesh.

Ike cried out several different times. First when the bird attack, and the second time came when his body fell onto the debris below him. This defiantly wasn't an easy mission… he had under estimated it. His fingers slowly trailed over the ground attempting to find the gun he had misplaced during the fall.  Every part of his body hurt, but his back seemed to be the worst of it all. Not only did the bloody bird leave a nice wound, but falling onto a pile of rocks and only God knew what didn't seem to help it any. Slowly getting to his feet he watched at the birds circled around him, watching in wait of their soon to be meal.

Ike slowly sat up, a harsh caught leaving his lips as he grabbed onto his side. He couldn't worry about his pain… Two days in he was not going to die!

Shot's rang out into the night as Ike took aim, the birds letting out sharp hisses as they attempted to move out of the Bayet's fire. It wasn't until he had gotten to his last magazine did he finally kill one of the birds. The last bird gave several more attacks before finally figure out Ike wasn't worth it.
Ike left the seen without a second thought. Not wanting to stick around to see what would come looking for him next. Being in no shape to climb the tree to get his pack back he found himself without a thing to keep him alive.

But he wouldn't give up, he had to finish this mission… He had to return home.

Walking for what seemed like hours he didn't stop until he reached a stream. Staring into the water he sighed before starting to work at cleaning himself. He was going to get sick from this… but water was water at the moment. Anything was better then nothing.

With no bullets to kill anything for food, Ike knew he had to go back to the old fashion way. Grabbing his ruined corset he pulled the string from it before starting to rip away at the fabric. Why did it seem every time he made a new outfit it always seemed to be ruined…

Searching for a rock that looked sharp enough he worked away at a fallen branch. Sharpening the tip he smiled faintly as he stared at his new weapon. Once he got something to eat he would make something better, but until then… this is what he would have to use. Grabbing another stick he kneeled down in front of a decent sized rock  he quickly lifted it up before placing the stick loosely under it. Wrapping the string around the stick he pulled it tight before grabbing a another small stick and sticking it into the ground. If it worked right any movement to the string the stick would fall… and whatever ended up under it would become his dinner…

It failed the first several times, but on the third try he had gotten it step up perfectly. The rock though didn't kill the animal, Ike in the end had to kill the animal himself. Several others trapts had been set up in hopes he would find a bigger animal. Having used a tree he used what was left of his string to make a spring snare… It had worked perfectly, but something bigger managed to get to the animal before Ike could. Not only was his dinner gone, but so was his one decent trap.

As the two weeks went on Ike managed to make it by but hardly. With no real weapon other then a sharpened stick and spear he had managed to make fending off the animals that came after him had proven hard. He looked sickly now, the water and lack of food taking its told on the wounded body. Even worse with no proper cleaning to his wounds had easily become infected. His body hurt and he could hardly move now. As it was time to head home he couldn't help but smile faintly… Until he saw that home was going to have to wait a little longer.
*huggles Ike* Poor kid... D: he's been pretty badly bagged up and he was trying to hard... D: But he got to use several of his skills in this :D Like setting traps and weapons :D

Alright, first thing first, I love love love how Ike's practical skills as a bayet seem to be concentrated around fashion XD

and now that that is out of my system:

:bulletblue: Kudos for applying two of Ike's skills and using them well! While Ike seems to rely on his firearms in most missions I'm fairly certain this is the first time I've seen him use *weapons expertise*. :bulletblue: Fantastic job hun! I'm only on your second mission (obviously) but I have to say you've been doing spectacularly this round. Keep up the wonderful work!
